The Elm Place Collaborative is the parent platform, holding company, and strategic umbrella under which a set of specialized Practice Groups align to strengthen nonprofit organizations through modern, flexible, and execution-driven support.

Rather than relying on outdated models that force nonprofits to choose between expensive full-time hires, siloed consulting, or oversized firms, the Elm Place Collaborative is designed to be a more responsive and integrated ecosystem. Each Practice Group plays a distinct role, yet all are intentionally connected, creating a stronger, smarter, and more adaptable support model for mission-driven organizations.

At its core, Elm Place Collaborative exists to help nonprofits build capacity, improve performance, access specialized expertise, and respond more effectively to a rapidly changing operating environment.

The four Practice Groups within the Elm Place Collaborative are:

  • The Philanthropic Advisory™

  • Capacity Lab - AI Integration

  • Research, Education, Training

  • Specialist Network Curation

Together, these ventures form a unified platform that blends advisory support, research, training, curated talent, and innovative AI-Native tools to help nonprofit organizations move from strategy to execution with greater confidence and less overhead.

PRACTICE GROUP

The Philanthropic Advisory™

The Philanthropic Advisory is the client-facing fundraising and advisory venture of Elm Place Collaborative. It works directly with nonprofit organizations to provide organizational assessments, individual performance optimization, coaching & mentorship, and project-based consulting focused on strategic fundraising, major gift initiatives, capital campaigns, and organizational alignment around fundraising.

This practice group is designed for organizations that need more than high-level recommendations. They need experienced guidance, practical support, and an execution-oriented partnership.

The Philanthropic Advisory helps organizations: strengthen fundraising capacity,

advance strategic projects and campaigns, navigate transitions, vacancies, or growth periods, build stronger fundraising systems, teams, and outcomes

Whether serving as a strategic campaign advisor or a coach to nonprofit leaders, The Philanthropic Advisory™ helps organizations move important work forward with greater clarity, momentum, and confidence.

Core role in the ecosystem:

The Philanthropic Advisory is the primary point of engagement for organizations seeking direct support. It translates the broader strength of the Elm Place Collaborative platform into client-facing strategy, counsel, and execution.
